Earthtone Ecotainment is a green initiative started in 2020 in order to promote products, art and media that is helping to sustain environmentally friendly practice. Since launching we have produced a short documentary on the music career of a North West singer - Johnny Chattell, produced a single for his debut album, as well as producing the environmental change single "Song for the World" - which was arranged to Carol of the Bells with original words written by myself.

All of these efforts help raise money for various charities and we hope to produce more content for Earthtone in the future.

You can see our current releases below:

In August 2020, I sat down with Cheshire musician Johnny Chattell to discuss the effects that the Covid-19 lockdown had on his creativity, outlook and mental health after his wife Dinah was sadly diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

In conjunction with this interview, Earthtone went on to commission the production of a song he had written during lockdown to raise money for the hospitals that had taken such good care of her.

Tragically, Dinah passed away while we were making this film, however the album that Johnny went on to release raised over six thousand pounds for the two hospitals that looked after Dinah.

SONG FOR THE WORLD COVER UPLOAD.jpg

Song for the World is a project very near to my heart, and is a plea for change in how we treat our planet, with words written by myself and set over Mykola Leontovych's Carol of the Bells.

This arrangement was put together by the wonderful Amy Chambers and produced by Dan Hopwood at Pluto Music in Cheshire, with all proceeds going towards various conservation and climate change charities.

It is my hope to get this song onto the global stage in an effort to raise awareness and change in regards to how we treat out planet.
